AM for Swansea West

As the Assembly Member for Swansea West, Andrew represents the people of his constituency in the Welsh Assembly, promoting their interests and fighting their corner.

Andrew Davies is the first 'point of contact' for his constituents for all the policy areas which have been devolved to the Welsh Assembly, including education, health, local government, the environment, economic regeneration and transport.

The constituency of Swansea West is a very varied one and includes the following areas of Swansea: the City Centre and Maritime Quarter, Townhill, Waunarlwydd, Fforestfach, Cockett, Gendros, Dunvant, Killay, Uplands, Sketty and Mayals.

The Swansea West constituency contains Swansea University, Swansea Institute of Higher Education and Swansea College as well as Singleton Hospital and the newly established Swansea Clinical School. The award-winning Marina, next to which the new National Industrial & Maritime Museum is being developed is also situated in the constituency, as are the famous St Helen's rugby and cricketground and the Vetch Field, home of ´The Swans´ football team
