Andrew Davies AM welcomes British gas initiative for Vulnerable people.

Local AM Andrew Davies welcomed the announcement that British Gas are introducing a series of measures to support vulnerable customers.

Andrew Davies AM said:

" I am pleased in light of recent price rises that British Gas are developing a series of measures to support vulnerable people who are suffering from fuel poverty."

"They have launched a series of measures which include grants for insulation, advice on energy efficiency, winter credit. Importantly British gas have given a voluntary public commitment to not disconnect anyone we know to be vulnerable "

Andrew Davies AM continued:

"I welcome these proposals but would call on British Gas to do even more to support vulnerable people as risk due to rising prices who find themselves in real fuel poverty."
