Welsh Labour Local Election Launch

First Minister Rhodri Morgan, Secretary of State for Wales Paul Murphy, Minister of Finance and Public Service Delivery Andrew Davies, Leader of Neath, Port Talbot Council Derek Vaughn and Leader of Swansea Labour Group David Phillips are all launching the Wales Local Election manifesto today at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea.

Top of the agenda is tackling crime and anti-social behavour across Wales including taking action to remove licences and to close shops that sell alcohol to under-18s and close pubs with persistent crime and drug-dealing problems.

Labour also pledges to increase neighbourhood policing teams to deal with problem areas and crime hotspots.
